Join Travis McDonald, Poplar Forest’s Director of Architectural Restoration, on this “behind-the-scenes” tour of Thomas Jefferson’s villa at Poplar Forest. Learn about the history of the restoration and have a look at the work currently in progress. Admission to the tour is included with general admission to Poplar Forest, free for Poplar Forest members.
Admission to Poplar Forest includes a guided house tour, self-guided tours of the grounds exhibits and the Enslaved Community Tours (when offered): $15 for adults; $13 for seniors (ages 65+) and active military (must show ID); $7 for college students (must show ID) and youth ages 12–18; $3 for youth ages 6–11; and free for children under age 6 and Poplar Forest members.
