The Bedford County Board of Supervisors at its May 28 regular meeting last week, approved to authorize County Administrator Robert Hiss to execute an easement agreement to F&B Contractors at the Moneta Solid Waster Convenience Center.

F&B Contractors ("F&B") owns property surrounding the Moneta Solid-Waste Convenience Center which they proposed to use for their own business. Due to the topography of their lot, the only feasible access requires an easement across a portion of the driveway serving the Moneta Convenience Center.

F&B is bearing the full cost of all necessary site improvements, and in exchange for the easement, will provide snow removal for the entirety of the Convenience Center site, as well as grass mowing and periodic pavement upkeep from Route 122 to the site of their access gate.
