Franklin County deputy receives award

WoodmenLife and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office recognized Deputy Leon Goodin for his commitment to the community for the month of September. Goodin came to Franklin County after working in the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office for around 33 years. Goodin works part-time in the courts and transportation. “On behalf of the Office of the Sheriff and WoodmenLife, thank you Deputy Goodin for all that you do in making our community be a better place,” the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office stated.
