The Staunton River High School girls basketball team edges William Byrd High School 48-45 on Saturday at home. Jenna Roach scored 3 points, Maddie Hamren scored 10 points, Leah Wong scored 5 points, Sawyer Tolley scored 4 points, Ayla Farr scored 9 points and Addy Ferguson scored 17 points. At left, Tolley (No. 5) hangs onto the ball. Above, the team has a timeout.
